#CONTAINER #COURT #SOCIAL #AGORA
It s so ambitious and courageous that the word food court just falls short. Trump Cadde (Trump Jadh-de) in Mecidiyekoy, brings more than 25 carefully chosen retailers and of course restaurants to Trump Towers Mall s roof terrace, creating an environment much more than what you might expect from any other mall.
Inspired by the qualities of the bazaar and agora, Trump Cadde reinterprets the ancient codes into a context-specific design that strives on bringing localism to the shopping mall. Both the bazaar and agora are deep rooted within the culture of the locality therefore the user experience invokes familiarity through memory that, in turn forms a sense of belonging.
The simple, creative and concept uses modular units between the two towers, creating main alleys and secondary aisles. Crisscrossing paths are sliced through the primordial mass maximizing the fa ade areas, whilst providing shortcuts and thereby creating cyclical design, individuality and dynamic spaces at every corner throughout the entire project.
[…] The synthesis of the container theme and the eclectic, colorful interiors define the nature and charm of the project which changes from the lower to the upper level. Each unit is unique with it s own character and style, individually co-designed by the GAD interior design team in collaboration with the tenants and the client. The project is well arranged and staged on the users end, creating a unique urban atmosphere, while orchestrated behind the scenes, providing a strong service infrastructure on the operator s side.
Trump Cadde is an innovative, new concept creating added value and taking the concept of a food court to a completely new level while at the same time creating social value and diversity.
